Torbay Metal Detectors Club
Torbay covers the three towns of Torquay, Paignton and Brixham in the southwest of England, although we visit sites all over Devon.
Over the years club members have discovered a host of fascinating finds, many of national significance, now residing in various museums.
The club is affiliated to the National Council for Metal Detecting, members of which observe a strict code of conduct and enjoy public liability insurance cover.
Club Meets
We aim to meet on the second Tuesday evening of each month to discuss recent digs and finds.
Monthly coin and artefact competitions are held and there is a fortnightly search at one of the club’s many sites.
Free Recovery!
The club can also arrange a Find and Recovery for lost Rings & Jewellery, farm machinery, keys etc. (See our Recovery guide page). We would also appreciate any further land to search so that we may find that little bit of history you often thought was there.
Club Status
The Club is now up and running thanks to the efforts of the members. Unfortunately we have had to restrict membership to a maximum of 30 and there is now a waiting list for membership.
if you have a query or would like to be added to the list then please contact the club via the → non- members Facebook page ←
